ReadyUp | Privacy Policy
Overview
ReadyUp is an offline-first emergency preparedness app. It is designed to function entirely on your device without collecting, transmitting, or storing any personal data on external servers.
Data Collection
ReadyUp does not collect any personal data. Specifically:
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No automated crash reporting or telemetry
- No advertising or ad identifiers
- No cookies or web tracking
- No user accounts, logins, or authentication
- No location tracking or GPS data collection
- No access to your device contacts
- No network requests of any kind
Data Storage
All data you enter into ReadyUp, including inventories, emergency plans, contacts, locations, photos, and drill history, is stored exclusively on your device using a local SQLite database and local file storage.
- Data never leaves your device
- No cloud sync, backup, or remote storage is used
- Photos you capture or select are saved to your device's local app storage only
- Documents you import (insurance cards, maps, manuals, etc.) are copied to local app storage only
- Barcode data you scan or enter is stored locally on your device only
- Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all app data from your device
Error Log
ReadyUp maintains a local error log on your device that records technical diagnostic information (timestamps, component names, and error messages) when something goes wrong. This log:
- Is stored only on your device and is never transmitted automatically
- Contains no personal data, only technical error details such as stack traces
- Is capped at 1 MB and automatically rotates to limit storage use
- Can be shared by you at your discretion via Settings → Share Log, using your device's standard share sheet (e.g. email)
- Can be cleared by you at any time via Settings → Clear Log
If you choose to share the log file with us for support purposes, we will use it solely to diagnose and fix the reported issue.
Permissions
ReadyUp may request the following device permissions:

| Camera | To capture photos of inventory items and locations, to scan product barcodes, and to capture documents |
| Photo Library / Storage | To select existing photos from your device for inventory items, locations, and document import |
| Notifications | To send local reminders when inventory items are approaching expiration |
These permissions are used solely for the described purposes. No data obtained through these permissions is transmitted off your device.
Third-Party Services
ReadyUp does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect user data. There are:
- No third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.)
- No third-party advertising networks
- No third-party crash reporting (no Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.). The app maintains a local-only error log that you may optionally share for support
- No social media integrations
Children's Privacy
ReadyUp does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the app collects no data at all, it is compliant with COPPA and similar regulations by design.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this location with an updated effective date. Since ReadyUp collects no data, material changes to this policy are unlikely.
